It’s been quite some time ago that we had some first rumors of Universal and Nintendo teaming up to bring a new themed world to the three Universal theme parks. I wrote about it more then a year ago, when rumors first started. (Find the original article here)
I love going to theme parks, so you can imagine I’m quite exited by the prospect. Although I’m not a huge Mario fan, the idea of walking into one of his game levels is quite exiting. Imagine yourselves surrounded by mushrooms, blocks and koopalinks! Plus, what great rides and fun interactive experiences can we expect?
The Nintendo themed world will be added to Universal Orlando, Hollywood and to the park in Osaka Japan. And it won’t just be a couple of attractions. The areas will have several attractions, shops and restaurants and you will feel the Nintendo influence everywhere. Plus, Nintendo being Nintendo, I guess we will see some innovative interaction as well.
