Gaming News – 14th August

It’s time for Gaming News.  This isn’t an exhaustive news article due to time limitations but I’ve picked a couple of news snippets in particular which I think will be of interest to our readers.  So let’s get to it!

Bubble Bobble 4 is Coming Switch.

I love the Bubble Bobble franchise. Rainbow Islands is probably my all-time favourite Bub and Bob title. However, this may change because Taito has announced a new and exclusive Bubble Bobble game for Nintendo Switch.

The game is called ‘Bubble Bobble 4 Friends.’ It’s due to release in Europe on 19th November and early 2020 in the US.

Be prepared for a Mad Dash in Harvest Moon: Mad Dash for Nintendo Switch.

I know that the Harvest Moon franchise is a favourite for many at Ladiesgamers.com. I do wonder though how fans will fare with dashing to complete tasks, rather than enjoying the usual casual pace. I guess we will find out this Autumn once the game releases for Nintendo Switch and PS4.

According to a PR statement, the game was well-received at E3, but are you worried about the change of pace? Please let us know in the comment section below.

Release Date for Doraemon Story of Seasons is Announced.

Doraemon Story of Seasons will release in Europe both physically and digitally on 11th October. The game will also release in the US on the same date, but sadly, this will be limited to a digital release only.

In Doraemon Story of Seasons, “Doraemon (the popular anime character)- makes his way into the hugely popular Story of Seasons series … Players will be able to enjoy traditional Story of Seasons activities like growing crops, cultivating their farm, exploring, bug hunting, and much more… [along with] other familiar faces from the Doraemon franchise.” (adapted from official PR Release.)

That’s it for now.

  1. ‘Mad Dash’ doesn’t sound like my thing at all, I don’t like time limits.
I love games like Xenoblade where you can explore between main quests as long as you like and where you can go on day and night. Wonderful feeling!
I love ‘Stardew Valley’ too, but I did feel a bit rushed to get as much done in a day as possible (and keep a constant eye on the in game time when playing). Xenoblade is even more relaxing for me.
Doraemon Story of Seasons looks good! Will it be on the Switch?
