A very Merry Christmas from the team at LadiesGamers

It’s hard to believe the time is already here, isn’t it? The Holiday season is here once again. There’s no escaping the fact that Christmas has arrived. The streets have been lit for days now with little tree lights in people’s front gardens. On the radio you’re hard pressed to find a station that isn’t playing Christmas music. And I don’t know about you, but I’ve seen the grocery stores insides several times in the past days.

Getting ready to have the family over to celebrate with us means planning, making grocery lists, visiting several shops and actually preparing the dishes. And with my cooking qualities sorely lacking, that’s quite an undertaking. But with all of that done, now it’s time to relax and enjoy the company.

I know Christmas isn’t a celebration for everyone. But whether it’s the Holidays, Christmas or neither to you, it’s a chance to unwind, think about the year that has passed and get excited about what’s still to come. If nothing else, it might be a time when you can get some quality game time in!

So for now, I want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas on behalf of the entire team over at LadiesGamers!

  1. 11 People? Wow, I want to say ‘good luck’ but Christmas is already over so.. Did you manage it?
    I spent Christmas with family.
The mother of my boyfriend took us to a buffet restaurant and the next day I had dinner with my mother and sister.
Fortunately no cooking for me. 🙂 (except putting little pieces of meat in my little gourmet pan, and pouring pancake mix in it)
    I’m no kitchen princess either!

    1. You were lucky, no cooking and not having to take care of guests. It went well over here, but in a way I’m glad all the festivities are over. Oh do you like gourmetting as much as I do? A perfect way to spend a cosy dinner!

  2. Good to hear it went well.
I’m also super glad the festivities are over!
I gained a lot of weight in the last year (and december didn’t exactly help), so I hope I can turn it around now.
I’m so ashamed I don’t want to leave the house, but I know I have to.

I love gourmetting. We used to do it a lot when I was a child on holiday’s and birthday’s.
It is indeed very cosy, homy and fun! Lot of time to chat.

    1. I know all about weight. I tend to say it’s an 80-year battle, and by the time the battle is over, you life it too. Lol, I started dieting when I was 16, and now 40 years later I would be super happy with the weight I had then. Lately we’ve been on low carbs which helps, but December is tough!
