A while back, I told you about how LadiesGamers has gotten too big for its old server home. After almost ten years of content and a steadily growing audience, it was time to move to a new server and a company that also maintains the site. Some little issues have been managed by now, and we are happy in our new surroundings. But the change also comes at a higher price, as was to be expected.
As you might remember, we have always kept LadiesGamers ad-free, and over the years, I have paid the server cost and everything that pops up while running a site myself. Our Patrons have supported me in this, but with the higher cost, it’s time to make a change.
I’ve reached out to a select number of developers/publishers, asking if they want to advertise on the site in a designated space. For now, there are three ad spaces right under the header image. No banners popping up all over the page, flickering and pulsing to get your attention. No ads for services or items you have zero interest in. Instead, hand-selected ads that fit with the site. The first three are up, all from Future Friends Games for their upcoming games Europa, Gourdlets and Summer House.
