A while back I mentioned my iTunes game music list which is a perfect way to get through a stressful day. Just this week I read that the entire soundtrack for Pokémon Sun and Moon is available for download in iTunes! The 169-track Pokémon Sun & Pokémon Moon: Super Music Collection soundtrack is $9.99 (€8,99 or £7.99).
In Japan, people can buy a physical copies complete with a booklet but that’s not for us here in the West. Of course, you don’t have to buy the entire album. A single track will set you back $0.99 (€0,99 or £o.79).
So, I’m taking the opportunity to share with you what I listen to during my daily commute. You can download all tracks on this Games and Movies playlist from iTunes. No idea if they can be downloaded to an android device too, but I bet they can. The list has some of my favourite movie music in it too, as they have the same relaxed feeling and good memories. They aren’t included here though, maybe a good one for another article!

To round it all off, I added some hourly music from Animal Crossing taken from an MP3. I can’t find any Animal Crossing music in iTunes, sadly.
Enough room for more game music to add, so tips are welcome!
I don’t often listen to game soundtracks; but when I do, I can get pretty obsessed and listen to the OST du jour quite obsessively. Here are my favourite-ever game soundtracks (I’m quoting whole games, because I cannot choose just a couple of tracks):
—Sonic 1, 2, 3 and Sonic&Knuckles on the Megadrive
—Sonic Rush and Sonic Rush Adventure on the DS
—Ecco the Dolphin and Ecco the Dolphin: Tides of Times on the Megadrive
—Aqua Kitty: Milk Mine Defenders DX on the Vita
The last one is the soundtrack I’m currently listening to and it’s amazing! If you love prog rock, synth and chiptune, I highly recommend that you give it a listen.
Thanks for the suggestions! Always good to get some new tips. Somehow for me it ties the working days neatly into what I’d love to do:play my games!
