It’s time for Gaming News. Today, we have news about a new fitness game from Nintendo, as well as trailers and dates for other titles. Let’s get straight to it. 🙂
Stranded Sails is Coming to Nintendo Switch
The moment I saw Stranded Sails trailer, I knew it would be the top trailer for today’s news article. Fans of titles such as Stardew Valley and Harvest Moon must keep an eye on this one. According to an official press release, the game leaves you “ship-wrecked on a mysterious archipelago where your adventure spans a vast open-world full of adventure and discovery.” Your goal is to “Fuse elements such as farming, crafting, cooking, and exploration… to build a ship and escape the island with the rest of your crew.”
There’s no release date as yet, but we shall keep you informed of any developments.
The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance
I’ve never watched the TV program but ‘The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance’ looks pretty good. The latest press release states that the game “contains diverse territories, each offering the ability to learn more about the Gelfling clans and their histories.” The game is a turn-based game, and after enjoying Tiny Metal: Full Metal Rumble so much, I’m looking forward to Dark Crystal when it releases later this year.
RomUniverse Sued by Nintendo
Nintendo is pursuing another Rom website. This time RomUniverse is feeling the heat after being hit with a lawsuit which demands $150.000 for each copyright infringement and $ 2 million for each trademark infringement. According to PolyGon, more than 300,000 Nintendo Switch and 500,000 3DS titles have been downloaded. These figures don’t include other ROMs for legacy/retro systems.
I must admit, I’m shocked that people would attempt to run websites like this, without thinking of the inevitable consequences. Â The moral of the story is to purchase games and support the livelihood of videogame developers who work hard to bring us the games we enjoy.
Are You Ready to Get Fit?
Nintendo is back in the fitness video game market with Ring Fit Adventure. The game will make its way into stores on 18th October and will include the game, one Ring-Con, and leg strap. The game looks fun and appears to have some depth. Check out the trailer below.
And Finally…
Get ready for some Burger Time! Burger Time Party is coming to Nintendo Switch on 8th October. Burger Time was originally launched back in 1982. This upcoming title includes modern visuals, single and multiplayer modes as well as 100+ levels.
If Burgers aren’t your thing, then how about a new Open-World adventure? Pine is currently set to release on the Switch eShop on 10th October in which players can explore, solve puzzles, collect and make items, and find a new home for Hue and his people.
That’s it for now.
Thanks for the gaming news Jonah.
I like the Ring Fit Adventure, thinking about getting it. (I worry a bit about the leg strap being big enough)
I played a lot of Wii Fit on the Wii.
I do think Wii Fit looked better. (the game graphics)
Does anyone else think the 2 people in the video are freakishly (scary) happy?
I would say the two people presenting it are very scripted.
