It’s time for Gaming News!  Super Mario Maker 2 continues to dominate UK sales charts, sandbox mmo Growtopia coming to Switch and Crash Team Racing gets a boost, and a number of newly announced titles are heading to Switch.

Super Mario Maker 2 Tops the UK Charts for Three Weeks Running

Super Mario Maker 2 is still outselling the competition. Dragon Quest Builders 2 enjoyed a strong debut at number 5, while other switch titles continue to experience high sales.  Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Breath of the Wild, New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe, and Let’s Go Pickachu are 4th, 8th, 11th, 15th, and 16th respectively.

Are you still playing Super Mario Maker 2? MMO Free to Play Growtopia Coming to Switch Next Week

Growtopia, a Sandbox MMO from Ubisoft, is heading to Nintendo Switch! It’s been available to play on Mobile devices since 2017, but Switch players will soon be able to try the game out for themselves. And because it’s free to play, players can try it without the expense. If the game does appeal to you, then microtransactions and additional DLC will be available for purchase via the eShop.

Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz Confirmed for Nintendo Switch

The rumours concerning a new Super Monkey Ball game for Switch were true. Japenese gaming magazine ha confirmed that Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz is in development for Nintendo Switch. If the title sounds familiar, its because Banana Blitz was first developed for Wii and launched in 2006. The upcoming remake will feature HD visuals and additional features.

Super Monkey Ball is due to launch on 31st October.

Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fuelled Get’s Boost Mode Support

Players of Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fuelled will soon receive patch 1.0.5. The patch will fix several issues, including long load times. The Switch version will use Boost Mode which overclocks the Switch while loading titles to boost load times.

GungHo and Nintendo have released two new trailers for Puzzle & Dragons Gold and Fire Emblem: The Three Houses.  Nintendo’s trailer provides details about house Golden Deer, whereas GungHo’s trailer shows off footage for their upcoming puzzler for Switch.
