Time for gaming news again! We have news about the Bee Simulator, YoKai Watch 1, a Switch title for Shaun the Sheep, the release date for Atelier Ryza, expansion sets for Civilization VI and management game Megaquarium.
YoKai Watch 1 on Switch ads online multiplayer battles
On October 10 the 3DS game YoKai Watch 1 is coming to the Switch in Japan. The 3DS game did have multiplayer battles, but only when someone was sitting in the room with you. Now, the Switch version features online multiplayer battles as well. Remember, you will probably need an Nintendo Switch Online subscription to use the feature.
Check out the game’s new trailer:
Civilization VI getting expansion bundle
ChamZen and me loved Civilization VI when it released on the Switch. Why, looking at the website for news on this update, even the game’s jingle made me want to play.
Well, on November 22 the game gets an expansion bundles called Rise & Fall and Gathering Storm. This gives you 16 new civilizations along with 18 additional leaders. Plus, if you don’t own a Switch? CIV VI is coming to PS4 and XBox on the same day!
New to the game? Check out our excellent series of guides.
Mario Kart Tour at launch
Nintendo’s 6th mobile game, Mario Kart Tour, has done very well at launch. Within the first 24 hours it was downloaded more then 20 million times on Android and iOS. This means it nearly tripled the previous best launch that was Mario Run.

Spending in the game on day one is topping $1 million globally, which is much less then Fire Emblem Heroes which grossed approximately $4,3 million on the first day.
This is probably caused by the experimenting Nintendo and partner DeNA are doing with the seasonal pass, which includes a two week free trial period.
Want to manage an aquarium?
On October 18 you can download Megaquarium in the Nintendo eShop. A tycoon where you build and manage your very own public aquarium and hopefully lead it to success.
In Megaquarium you are not only building a single aquarium, but you are essentially managing a full public place for visitors to come by and learn more about the fish you showcase. You have full control over the creative side in your aquarium as well. Place fish tanks and fill them with the fish and decorations items of your choice.
The game is already available on Steam, and I’m really looking forward to being a tycoon!

Brand new Atelier title is close!
Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Scarlet Hideout was released in Japan on September 26, 2019. The brand new Atelier title will be available in North America on October 29, 2019 and in Europe on November 1, 2019. You can play it on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC.
Of course, we got the anniversary title Atelier Nelke this year, but that was more of a management game than a traditional Atelier title. (Check out my review here).
I’m really looking forward to the next steps they’ve taken in the series! Check out the PS4 trailer featuring the lovely opening song. The Switch game is the same one of course.
Shaun the Sheep comes to Switch
How many adventures can one sheep have? Well, Aardman Studios is bringing fan favorite Shaun the Sheep to the Switch in Home Sheep Home: Farmageddon Party Edition. The game features all the gameplay PC players will have come to know and love in previous Home Sheep Home titles, but now remastered for Nintendo’s platform.
Join Shaun and his friends Timmy and Shirley on an adventure through underground caverns, the busy streets of London, and even teleport through outer space, all in search of the green grass they call home.
There are puzzles to beat, each of which will test each sheep’s unique abilities, and movie-themed party games will add some additional chaos to proceedings.

The Bee Simulator coming in November
Another title we have been looking forward to for a long time is the Bee Simulator. Not long to wait now, as the game buzzes into the eShop on November 12 in the US and November 14 in Europe.
Here’s the description for the game:
“See the world through the eyes of a bee! Explore a world inspired by Central Park where you can take part in bee races, collect pollen from rare flowers and defy dangerous wasps. Play with friends or family in three game modes, including co-op and PvP on split screen.
The hive awakens as the sun’s first rays warm the horizon. It’s time to test your wings, receive orders from the Queen and begin your first mission. And that’s just the start of your adventures. Humans want to cut down the tree that holds your hive, so your fate – and that of the whole swarm – rests on your tiny shoulders!”
