Introducing a new writer: Emily

A new writer joins our team of writers. Please help me welcome Emily!

Meet Emily Lobel

Hi! I’m Emily. I’m a native New Yorker and a recent college graduate. 

I’ve loved gaming since childhood, and I’ve owned every Nintendo handheld since the Gameboy Advance. To give you an example, this week I’ve been playing Fire Emblem: Three Houses and Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town. My five-star town in Animal Crossing: New Horizons is collecting weeds for now, but I’m hoping to change that soon. I’m also considering buying Hades, but I haven’t gotten around to it yet. 

As for non-gaming endeavors, I studied computer science and theater in school — two fields that are separate but equally dear to me. In my free time, I like to watch SNL, play a few instruments, cook dinner for my family, and spend too much time on social media. 

I consider myself a budding writer, so I’m looking forward to getting some practice in here at Ladies Gamers. I hope you enjoy my work, and I apologize in advance for any stupid jokes I might try to make!
