Square Enix at E3 2019: our highlights

Square Enix had their presentation at E3 last night and a couple of games stood out for me, that will come to the Nintendo Switch. Of course, more was shown at the E3 conference. Like The Last Remnant being available immediately on the Switch and other snippets of news.

Here’s the list!

Dragon Quest Builders 2 demo

We all know DQB2 is coming to the Switch on July 12. If, like me, you are eager to start your new adventure, you don’t have to wait that long. On June 27, there will be a demo in de Switch eShop!

Action RPG Oninaki releases in august 2019

We first heard of Oninaki, developed by the team at Tokyo RPG Factory in a Nintendo Direct in February. Now, we have a date: August 22! Tokyo RPG Factory previously worked on I Am Setsuna and Lost Sphear. Check out the trailer to see if it would be your kind of game. By the way, the age rating is still pending on this one.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles remastered

A game I’m looking forward to revisiting is Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles. It’s being remastered, and is coming to the Switch in Winter. Just to freshen up your memory, here’s a new trailer:

Final Fantasy VIII remastered

Another remaster that is coming to the Switch is Final Fantasy VIII. No further news yet about this coming of age sage of Squall, Rinoa, and Seifer. Here’s the trailer that was shown.
