Star Fox Zero: The Battle Begins animated short was released on the 20th of April 2016. Produced by Wit Studio and Production I.G it released a day or two before Star Fox Zero. Shigeru Miyamoto was the lead producer and supervising director. This short introduces the main cast of the Star Fox series. As a promotional for Star Fox Zero it essentially shows the lead up to and the first mission of Star Fox Zero.
I think it’s quite good looking since I don’t like many 3D anime. Seeing the cast of Star Fox outside of the games is a nice treat. There’s some funny bits in it. I also liked to show this to people who haven’t seen it yet. It makes me wish they could make a longer Star Fox movie or maybe a web series. You can watch it for yourself here:
