After this, there is hardly a gaming device left that doesn’t have Stardew Valley in their library ( except for the 3DS..). Because the game is coming to mobile as well!
iOS is first. The game, developed for mobile by company the Secret Police, a London based mobile development studio, will release on October 24. The Android version is still in the works, but news of a release date is expected soon.
I must say I do wonder about the small iPhone screens, I can’t imagine managing the Farm in such detail with touch controls. But that might just be me.
Anyway, here are the details:
- It’s the full game, not a cut down version, and plays almost identically to all other versions. The main difference is that it has been rebuilt for touch-screen gameplay on iOS (new UI, menu systems and controls)
- £7.99 / $7.99 / € 8,99 with no in-app purchases. That’s a great price! (The game wasn’t costly before on Switch though with a tag of €14,99)
- Includes 1.3 single player content, such as the Night Market, but not Multiplayer
- PC players can transfer their save data to the iOS version via iTunes – but make sure to always back up your save data first! Mods are not supported, and any save data transferred containing mods may cause compatibility issues.
