Welcome! At LadiesGamers, we are all about indie games. So, aside from our Upcoming Switch Games, it’s time to look at Steam’s upcoming new release games. This one is for May 2023.
Not all games to be released are on the list here. Alternatively, you will see games that the other gaming sites don’t mention. We are taking notice of these games. You can expect reviews for many of them if given half a chance! It should be noted that unless we have some personal experience with the game, there’s a link to the descriptions on the Steam website.

After crashing onto the island during her travels to a magical academy, the young witch makes the most of the situation, still eager to become a full-fledged Witch.

Kalina previewed Finding Hannah and has this to say as her final thoughts.
Overall, I enjoyed playing Finding Hannah. The storyline is engaging, the art style is gorgeous, and the game mechanics are exciting. I wish the developers had spent more time on the mother and grandmother’s past, but I understand why they glossed over it. The game is a casual game, after all. The game’s three episodes, The Meaning of Life, Mother, and How to Change the World, promise much more to come, and I am excited to see what’s coming.

Mina reviewed Humanity and said this in her conclusion.
Humanity is amazing. There is a whole lot to do in the story mode, and there’s, even more, to do in the user-created levels and level maker. Minus a couple of small problems I had, this game was almost perfect. I love it deeply. I would recommend this game 100% if you love the genre!

Butterworth, a genius inventor of Victorian times.
James has previewed the Tin Hearts demo on PC and reviewed the game on Nintendo Switch. Here is what he said in his Two Thumbs Up conclusion:
Tin Hearts is really something quite special. Even the most hardened of gamers will struggle not to be moved by some aspect of the charm on display here. Whether it’s the heart-felt soundtrack, calm but satisfying gameplay or the emotional beats of the story.
Tin Hearts is the sort of title I love seeing in gaming. An original idea that is different from anything that comes before is made all the more memorable with its unique historical premise. The game is single-player only, but I can see this being a fun one to play together with loved ones on the sofa. Pointing at the screen to try to solve the problems together. Tin Hearts is a wonderful feel-good title which might be just what you need on a rainy day.

Strategic positioning on the battlefield can raise your evasiveness, or lower your movement speed, among other effects. Plus, Avalanche Attack and Fairize battle mechanics return!
Yvonne reviewed Fairy Fencer F: Refrain Chord on the Nintendo Switch and said this in her conclusion:
To be honest, I had a hard time coming to a conclusion for Fairy Fencer F: Refrain Chord. I liked the battles, loved the music and disliked the banter between the characters. I mean, I really don’t want to read all about Harley wanting to do a body check to research the Fairies, about Eryn losing her panties during the night and if Fang found them and so on. It might be comedy to some, but not my kind of humour and I even found it off-putting.
The story was interesting, however, and the battles made up for it. I liked the turn-based strategic battles and all the special stat-raising possibilities there are to make the battles as interesting as possible. The glittering colours on the battlefield from Aria’s songs weren’t to my liking; I found it hard to discern the characters and where to place their attack. But the idea of adding music as a tactic is nice.
