Welcome, we’re into December already which can only mean one thing at LadiesGamers: it’s time to take a look at the upcoming new release games on our favourite handheld the Nintendo Switch for December 2021.
Mind you, not all games to be released are on the list here. Alternatively, you will see games that the other gaming sites don’t mention. These are the games that we are taking notice of, and if given half a chance, you can expect reviews for many of them! It should be noted that unless we have some personal experience with the game mentioned, there’s a link to the descriptions on the Nintendo website.
Miracle Snack Shop – December 2nd
After facing some major adversity, Seolhwa Cha ends up owning a small snack shop.
There is just one problem, business is dead. Seolhwa doesn’t have time to sing the blues though because in his attic something has appeared, A portal? Out from that portal walks a queen from another world.

Dairoku: Agents of Sakuratani – December 2nd
Ever since she could remember, Shino Akitsu has had the ability to see what others could not, spirits, apparitions, and indescribable creatures. As an adult, this talent leads her to join a secret government agency: The Occult Action Department. Her assignment is with the Sixth Special Preventions Office, and her job is to monitor the powerful beings who travel between her world and the worlds beyond.
From her office in Sakuratani, a town in a different dimension, Agent Akitsu meets several otherworldly individuals with vastly different personalities and abilities: a nine-tailed fox spirit, a mischievous oni, and more. Part gatekeeper, part travel guide, she does her best to get to know these entities and keep them from getting into inter-dimensional trouble. Monster Rancher 1 & 2 DX – December 9th

Wytchwood – December 9th

After all, how will they ever learn if you don’t teach them the moral of the story?
A YEAR OF SPRINGS – December 10th
Experience the stories of Haru, Erika, and Manami in A Year of Springs, a visual novel trilogy about three friends navigating their feelings of love, connection, and just wanting to belong. Three visual novels with multiple endings.
In One Night, Hot Springs, visit the hot springs with Haru, a young and anxious trans woman who just wants to enjoy herself on a trip with Manami but doesn’t want to cause any trouble.
On the Last Day of Spring, spend a week as Erika, a well-meaning ex-delinquent who runs into more issues than expected when trying to plan a spa day for Haru.

My Universe – Doctors & Nurses – December 13th
Start your medical career! You have the option to play two new recruits who’ve just arrived. Gradually, you’ll realise that your day-to-day existence is going to be anything but restful. Build relationships with the other members of your new team and get to know their funny and moving personalities. But be sure not to get distracted by your rival, Doctor Pierce!
Over the course of your adventure, you’ll take care of the various patients who present to you at the hospital. Listen carefully to them to understand their symptoms and play fun mini-games to treat them. Every day is a new challenge with its fair share of surprises!

Clockwork Aquario – December 14th
The long thought lost arcade treasure by the legendary Westone team is finally being brought to light after 30 years! In cooperation with Strictly Limited games, the unfinished ROM has been dug up and finished with the input of the original developers. The beautiful pixel art was at the top of its class at the time and has lost nothing of its charm over the years.
Jump and run through a colourful fantasy world, pick up and throw your enemies. Hit multiple enemies at the same time to get a multiplier and rack up your high score! You can also play with up to two friends, will you collaborate to take down Dr Hangyo or try to sabotage each other to get a high score? Check back for our Clockwork Aquario review.
Asteroids: Recharged – December 14th
The original space shooter warps to the modern era! Asteroids: Recharged has been reimagined for modern gameplay, with vibrant visuals, powerful new abilities. And another original soundtrack from award-winning video game composer Megan McDuffee.

Hashihime of the Old Book Town append – December 16th
In this pop-occult mystery that surrounds the deaths of his friends. Tamamori came to Tokyo with his sights set on getting accepted to the Imperial University. However, he doesn’t pass the entrance exam. And is so undisciplined and wrapped up in endless fantasies that he’s kicked out of his boarding house after only two years.
Through a stroke of luck, Tamamori begins to live and work at Umebachidou, a used book store. There, he enjoys whiling away his time as a student preparing for entrance exams. But one right after the other, mysterious deaths befall those friends. Realizing he’s been repeating the same rainy three days over and over again, Tamamori finds himself racing throughout Jinbochou to save them.
Aspire: Ina’s Tale – December 17th
