Welcome, we’re into the new month already which can only mean one thing at LadiesGamers. It’s time to look at the upcoming new release games on our favourite handheld, the Nintendo Switch, for May 2022.
Mind you, not all games to be released are on the list here. Alternatively, you will see games that the other gaming sites don’t mention. We are taking notice of these games, and if given half a chance, you can expect reviews for many of them! It should be noted that unless we have some personal experience with the game mentioned, there’s a link to the descriptions on the Nintendo website.
Eiyuden Chronicle Rising – May 10th
Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising combines a thrilling adventure through ancient ruins with the tale of one town’s rise from the ashes. Drawn by lenses and other treasures in the nearby Runebarrows, our heroes learn that the town is struggling to rebuild after an earthquake and decide to help. Along the way, they’ll resolve disputes between eager adventurers and wary locals who don’t think the Barrows should be disturbed. And they’ll learn more about each other’s reasons for seeking treasure, deepening their bonds in the process.
As you will learn, these Runebarrows hide a great secret that has fateful implications for one of the characters. What begins as a simple treasure hunt turns into a dark conspiracy that will shake the world and plant seeds that carry over into the main story of Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes. The game will introduce a portion of Eiyuden Chronicle’s cast of characters in an original story with thrilling action and engaging town-upgrading elements.
Rogue Lords – May 12th
A dark fantasy roguelike where you play as the Devil! Defeated many moons ago, you are finally coming back with your most faithful disciples to take revenge on those miserable Demon Hunters. Play runs after runs and collects ancient artefacts to regain your power and take back your rightful place.
Set up your team of famous evil geniuses like Dracula, the Headless Horseman or Bloody Mary. Build their set of skills and create synergies to face any mortal who dares to stand in your way. Unlock new abilities, collect souls, make the right choices in events and use your powers to slay the forces of good.
Infinite Links – May 12th
Talismans are magical items that contain great power, even with some that can grant any desire. Kronos, a boy training as a wizard, and Serene, who consider one another as siblings, become enveloped in a Talisman conspiracy. Will they be able to save themselves and the world from the threatening danger?
Equip Talismans to the Skill Board to acquire skills and fatal moves to turn the tides in turn-based battles. Forging and upgrading weapons, armour and Talismans from materials will grant you additional advantages. There are also strategic elements with battle formations and traps, not to mention the variety of quests, and arena and monster achievements that await challenges in this fantasy RPG.
Dungeons of Dreadrock – May 12th
The Spirit of 1980’s home computer adventure games revived for contemporary audiences and platforms. Fight and puzzle your way through 100 hand-crafted levels into the ancient depths of Dreadrock Mountain. Relive memories of old-school dungeon crawlers from a new perspective. Vesper: Zero Light Edition – May 12th

Connecto – May 13th
Connecto is a game about making connections. Tap the dots on the edge of the playing field to shoot them in the direction of their arrow. If two dots with the same number meet, they establish a connection. Chain at least two twos, three threes or four fours to make a match.
Cotton Fantasy – May 20th
Something sinister is in the making! The Willows are vanishing from Fairyland and the Fairy Queen asks Silk to seek the witch Nata de Cotton for help. For a lifetime all-you-can-eat willow supply. As she has an insatiable craving for them, Cotton is willing to help out her old friend and embark on another adventure together.
This brand-new game from the long-standing Cotton series. It sets the stage for another fantastic adventure, featuring a total of 6 iconic playable characters, including stars from other games! Each character has its own mechanics and attacks, allowing you to choose from different playstyles and find the right match. While staying true to the iconic Cotton style. There are several new shoot ’em up mechanics introduced, like Psyvariar’s Buzz System or Sanvein’s Time Mode.
Farm Tycoon – May 27th
From seeds to vegetables and processed products. There are animals, meat processing plants, farming machines, workers with different skill sets, warehouses with cooling, anti-pesticides, and many more. A lot of different strategies can be successfully executed to make the farm profitable.
Make a jack-of-all-trades farm to min-max the systems. But perhaps just a fully sustainable and independent apple juice company can drive the prices up and be more profitable. Maybe using only eco-friendly energy sources will pay off in the long run, especially with the government grant. Or you just *love* beef steaks and want to make the best quality filet mignon in the world? Any farm-related business idea seems possible in Farm Tycoon.
