A new writer joins the team

Jenna, an American girl living and working for a year in Japan, joins our writers team. A great country to live in when you love playing video games. She tells you a bit about herself in New Challenger Approaching!

Soundtracks we Love

Evriun published a new article in the Soundtracks We Love series. With Halloween done and gone, it’s time to look at some more lighthearted music. It’s time for Kirby Super Star: cute, pink and lighthearted. Let’s see if the music fits in this edition of Soundtracks We Love: Kirby Super Star.

If you want to read about the soundtracks Evriun covered in the past weeks, here is the collection.Game Soundtracks We Love: Kirby Super Star

Feature Series: Animal Crossing memories

I guess Animal Crossing is a game that evokes some powerful memories in gamers all over the world! So that’s why some of our writers have already shared their fondest memories (check them out here!)
A friend I met in the blog-o-sphere that is a very big fan of the Animal Crossing games is Brandi from the blog DefytheMajority so of course, I asked her to add her memories of the game too. Find Brandi’s memories here.

Visiting PAX Australia with Paige

Paige made a trip to Melbourne to attend PAX Australia. Did you know PAX is short for Penny Arcade Expo? I didn’t! It started off as a convention by the creators of the web-comic “Penny Arcade”. Anyway, walk with Paige along the long lines to play the popular demos and experience PAX through her eyes. PAX AUS 2018

YvoCaro Plays

This recurring series of articles on LadiesGamers is back. I plan to make it a weekly feature.  As always, these thoughts just spring up in my mind, sometimes game related, sometimes they are not. But I do try to make it an entertaining read. This weeks’ article is called Mainstream Garbage, the downside of digital games and magical translations.

Evriun designed a very cool image for the articles with en elderly YvoCaro knitting away while sharing gaming stories. Exactly how I envision myself in the future! And by the way, if you like these blurbs of gaming thoughts, you can find the previous ones here.
