Animal Crossing Memories
Jenna made her first article on the site: she tells us how the world in Animal Crossing became her safe haven growing up. As a long-time fan, she has come to love this game franchise not only for its charm and story mechanics, but for the escape it has given her time and time again from real-life struggles and emotional/mental trauma. Read her moving article here.
Soundtracks we Love
For this week; Evriun featured a game that had storybook elements with narrations and was a departure from the main series: Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles. Soon the remake of the game will make it to the Switch. The gameplay is great, but then so is the soundtrack. Check out Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles here.
YvoCaro Plays
Despite my more then filled agenda when it comes to my other job in real life, there’s always something that reminds me of gaming during the day. This week it’s all about imagining myself in Link’s footsteps while walking to the bus. And about the mysterious ways of age rating in games. Anyway, read my game-related ramblings of this week here.
Pick ‘n’ Mix games
The 9th edition of Pick ‘n’ Mix Games; a weekly team effort. Pick ‘n’ Mix strives to give you some tips about video games which are both fun and designed to be played in short bursts. Plus, they are little gems on a budget for the various handheld devices. Here is the 9th bag of sweets!
This week Jonah talks about Swap This (Switch), Evriun about Unexplored (Switch) and I tell you about an older RPG on the 3DS that’s special to me: DenPa Men: the Rise of the Digitoll.
