YvoCaro Plays: Gaming Music

Welcome to another YvoCaro Plays!

As always, these blurbs are mostly about the video games I’m currently playing. Unedited thoughts that spring up in my mind, sometimes game related. Or a random train of thoughts starting with the game and ending somewhere completely different!

If you like these bits of gaming thoughts you can find the previous ones here

Gaming Music Can Help You Through the Day

I love gaming music. I’ve found that it can help me through a stressful day at work. Well, not actually AT work at the moment of course, as I’m still working from home due to the Covid pandemic. Really hard to believe that I’ve done so for over a year now, and in that time I have only been at my companies office twice. One time to exchange my laptop that was too old by the companies standards, and one time to welcome our new intern and show him the ropes in a couple of hours. After which, he too worked from home!

But back to the music part. You see, if you are an enthusiastic gamer like me, you would really like to play your games all the time. But, being the responsible adults that we are means that we can’t. We have to work for a living, take care of our family or our home and the list of tasks in real life is never ending. What can help is to listen to some music that transports you to the virtual world that you love. I mean, some people tend to put on soothing and relaxing yoga sounds to get them through a hectic schedule. Not me. I put on my playlist of carefully gathered music tracks.

On Spotify Too? Give These a Try!

In the past I had my Apple Playlist, but ever since Spotify entered our lives, finding music that is related to games has never been more easy. And so is making a cool playlist to stay in the gaming mood. So if you are interested, find my list on there. Find me there and simply follow the playlist!

In the past we have featured Game Soundtracks We Love on the site and though it certainly wasn’t our best read series of articles, they were all very lovingly made. As I’ve been listening to one soundtrack in particular for weeks now, I thought it nice to share this one too! The soundtrack I’m talking about is the one for Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy. What I do is I listen to the entire track for a couple of times, and then pick out the ones I like most. These go to my favorite gaming music list.

And the good thing: there’s a list for the first Atelier Ryza as well!

Let me know if you enjoy your gaming music as well, and if my LG Games Music list does the trick for you!
