It’s time for LadiesGamers’ weekly collection of wholesome gaming news!
This is Margaret, stepping in real quick for Yvonne, who’s currently taking a well-earned break, so let’s try to do our best. Developers Two Point announced a new DLC for Two Point Museum with The Digiverse, so we’ll look into that! We mentioned Gamescom 2025 last week, but there are a couple of extras to mention, like an update to Nice Day for Fishing. PowerWash Simulator 2 narrows up its release window.
The people behind Glass Masquerade have announced their fourth game, returning to Tiffany style glass. The devs of Little Witch in the Woods have decided to delay their release because of another important release on that day. The newly announced Muri: Wildwoods had an open play-test on Steam!
Two Point Museum Goes To Cyberspace!
Two Point Games announced The Digiverse DLC early on the 21st with an overview trailer that goes over the best and goofiest parts of the mini-expac. This free update hints at the feverishly imaginative world of video games splitting rifts into Two Point Museum’s already shaky idea of reality.

Wilder than Wreck-It Ralph and less cataclysmic than Tron, the Digiverse will add a variety of pixelated artifacts to collect and new digital experts to hire to handle the emerging situation for us. Centering around a mishap with the Meat Wizard arcade machine, this DLC looks like it could have some amusing synergy with Two Point’s recent paid DLC, Fantasy Finds.
I’ve had a ton of fun with Two Point Museum, so I’m looking forward to the update, which dropped August 28th.
Gamescom 2025 Gave Us Plenty to Look Forward To!
Gamescom is Europe’s biggest annual video game trade show, which makes it a more sedate affair than Geoff Keighley’s televised events, but it’s still a great place for some big news breaks and hands-on demos for games we’re already waiting for.
Nice Day for Fishing is a two-thumbs-up approved LadiesGamers winner, and Gamescom also became the place for some big news for developers FusionPlay: Not only is it coming to Xbox later this year, but it’ll be receiving a free content update very soon!
One demo that caught our eye earlier this month is Capy Castaway, which received a special presentation during August 20th’s show line-up. Capy Castaway is a cute-looking game where a capybara and a friendly crow have to work together after a devastating flood in order to help their lost zoo friends build new lives. Developers Kitten Cup were on hand at the trade fair to talk about the game. Did you play the demo on Steam?
I can’t resist mentioning Moonlight Peaks again, with it’s free demo playable on Steam.

This wholesome life sim looks perfect for fans of Wylde Flowers, as you play a vegetarian vampire out to prove to your dad that your peaceful new way of life isn’t a phase. As your father is Dracula himself and there’s no Belmonts or Alucards around to help, you’ve clearly got your work cut out for you.
PowerWash Simulator 2 is Targeting A Fall 2025 Release
FuturLab’s been cagey about the release date of PowerWash Simulator 2, and with the amount of new features being added to the game — more tools! A home office to decorate! Pettable kitties! So many stinkin’ gnomes! — it’s understandable that they’re taking their time now that they’re out of the shadow of their original game’s publisher, Square Enix.

With a price point of twenty-five American dollarbucks (the same price as the original game) and a big set of shoes to refill with water, the release date, as disclosed at Gamescom, is a general Fall 2025. That could mean as early as late September, or it could mean November. Either way, making sure they live up to their previous surprise hit means we’re all okay with giving them a little wiggle room.
But just a little, though? I’ve been recleaning so much of Muckingham for happy self-soothing gaming that I’m gonna end up eroding half the region’s stone structures down to nubs.
Muri: Wildwoods Opened Up A Playtest
Just announced by its indie developer, Speldosa, Muri: Wildwoods may nick the itch us PowerWash fanatics are feeling. Muris are charming folk with unique physical features somewhere between a mouse and a butterfly, and your Muri is out to clean up a corrupted landscape with a funky little water gun.
Learn the lore of the land, pet the critters you come across, and dig secrets out of the muck as the raccoon-like Forest Spirit waits for your hand to guide it out of whatever darkness has tried to claim it. Probably a bad burger wrapper from a human dumpster, if I had to guess. The open playtest is available on Steam until 3rd September for those signed up, but you can always ‘request access’ in case of more participants are needed.
One of our Patrons has been playtesting several games recently and said “My favorite was called Muri: Wildwoods. It was great and I can’t wait for the full game to release.”

Glass Masquerade 4: Constellations Announced
The devs behind the popular Glass Masquerade games, Onyx Lute, have been busy! Apparently, a lot of the game’s fans had asked for more stained glass puzzles. And they listened: in a few weeks or less they are returning to the classic Tiffany-style stained glass with Glass Masquerade 4: Constellations.
You’ll assemble the pieces along the glass lines in Constellations. However, you will still be able to play with the board cut layouts that were introduced in the third part of the series.

Little Witch in the Woods Delayed
The developers behind Little Witch in the Woods, Sunny Side Up, have delayed the release date for this much awaited game. Originally the full release was planned for September 4th. But shortly after their announcement, they learned that Hollow Knight: Silksong by Team Cherry will be launching on the same day.
“Silksong is a game we look up to with awe as developers, and eagerly anticipate as players. Given its immense influence, we fear that launching Little Witch in the Woods on the same day would not only dishearten our dedicated team but also disappoint our devoted audience.”
They have decided to adjust the release of the full version to September 15, 2025.
