For this series the goal is to discuss our favorite summer destinations in games. An interesting topic I had never thought of! If I were to go anywhere in video games for a visit, where would I go? Let’s take a look.
The Magic Kingdom in Disney Magical World 1 & 2
The central world in the Disney Magical World games is top of my list. When I play this game, I feel like I’m visiting Disney World but without the crowds. Plus, I would be able to warp into various movie themed worlds like Aladdin’s Agrabah or Ariel’s undersea kingdom. Sounds like a great holiday to me!
Animal Crossing: New Leaf
This town looks very relaxing, even if some of the characters can be a pain. I imagine I would take a book and read on a park bench as well as browse the local museum. Of course, all this will have to wait until I’ve finished weeding!
Lego The Lord of the Rings
I am a LOTR fan, and I want to visit the Shire…even if it’s made of Legos! Watching fireworks, eating good food, dancing, reading in my Hobbit hole. It would be so relaxing that it would make up for temporarily not having knee joints.
Style Savvy: Styling Star
For this game I would pretty much be staycationing in my virtual room, but I’d have a huge collection of clothes, makeup, and accessories that fit well and look great. It would be fun to dress up in such a large wardrobe for a while. A very chill holiday indeed.
The Louvre Guide
This one is cheating a little since the Louvre exists in real life, but I LOVE a good museum and this is on the top of my list. So I want to visit it however I can, and that includes vacationing in the video game guide.
This wraps up my contribution to this series. As you can tell, I enjoy chill vacations and relaxing environments. The places I want to visit definitely reflect this preference.
What about you? What videogame do you want to visit on vacation?
