Nine Full Romance Routes in 9 R.I.P. Sequel

IDEA FACTORY and DESIGN FACTORY have announced that the sequel to 9 R.I.P. will launch physically and digitally on Nintendo Switch in 2026, expanding the original’s eerie romance with nine full routes, new sub characters, and bonus content that unlocks as players dive deeper into the story.

Set after the events of 9 R.I.P., the sequel follows Misa Isshiki as she navigates the consequences of her actions during her second year of high school. Depending on the route, she may be grappling with the aftermath of her own death, or trying to build a future with a supernatural partner whose world doesn’t always align with hers. Every path forces Misa to confront what she wants, and what she’s willing to risk, to move forward.

A new Announcement Trailer showcases all nine returning love interests from the first game, alongside a first look at the fresh faces joining the cast. For players who followed every twist of the original’s Heavenly and Godly Endings, the sequel promises direct continuations, and new emotional fallout, for each path.
