Sensor Tower, the company who gathers data and insights about mobile apps, has reported that Animal Crossing Pocket Camp has reached $50 mln. of revenue. As the game nears its 1 year anniversary, Pocket Camp has taken longer (289 days) to reach the $50 million mark than either Super Mario Run (222 days) or Fire Emblem Heroes (20 days).
But, Pocket Camp seems to be something of a slow burner. It reached $ 35 mln. last June, and then gained an additional $ 15 mln. relatively soon.
What’s even more interesting, is that although most users are in the US, almost 81% of the spend was made in Japan. Plus, 61% of the amount was spent in iOS.
