What Find My Frogs Is About
Find My Frogs is a classic hidden object game with a playful twist. Your mission? Track down every single member of Uncle Frogger’s extended family for a big family photo shoot.
Sounds simple enough, until you realize there are over 350 frogs (and toads!) hiding in the nooks and crannies of an enormous tree village. It’s a cute premise, and right off the bat, it taps into something nostalgic — like flipping through a Where’s Waldo? book, but with way more amphibians.

Gameplay? More Like Frogplay
The game doesn’t waste time with a tutorial. Instead, you’re dropped right into the scene with one unspoken rule: click everything.
At first, I wasn’t even sure there was a story. Turns out, you’re not only finding frogs, you also need to collect the scattered pieces of a camera to complete the family photo. It’s a small narrative layer, but one that adds a bit of purpose to the point-and-click frenzy. If you’ve played hidden object games before, you’ll feel right at home. If not, my best advice is: See something weird? Click it. See nothing at all? Still click it.

And if you ever feel completely stuck, there’s a handy magnifying glass icon you can use. It highlights a frog you might have missed — a tiny hint without giving too much away. Just note that it comes with a cooldown of about two minutes, so use it wisely.
Beyond the main objective, there are also side quests hidden throughout the map, like finding every slice of strawberry cake or tracking down all the worms scattered around. They don’t change the core gameplay, but they add a little extra spice for completionists.
Most of the main game can be completed in around an hour, maybe an hour and a half if you’re being thorough (aka side quests). It’s short, sweet, and doesn’t overstay its welcome.
Art and Sound of Find My Frogs
The background music didn’t leave a huge impression on me, but it’s there if you need a bit of ambience. You can adjust or mute it, which I appreciate. What did stand out were the tiny croaking sound effects when you click on certain characters. Not every frog makes a sound, and that variety gives the game a surprising layer of charm. It’s the kind of detail that feels small but thoughtful.
Visually, Find My Frogs feels like flipping through a children’s picture book. The art is soft and colourful, with whimsical illustrations and lots of details to discover. You can also toggle between day and night lighting, or adjust colour intensity, which is great for comfort and accessibility.

Where it didn’t land for me
Now, here’s the thing. Technically, Find My Frogs works fine. There are no bugs, and the mechanics are solid. But the experience just didn’t quite land for me. Maybe it’s the lack of real progression, or maybe it’s the repetition, but after the initial charm wore off, I found myself clicking out of habit more than curiosity. It’s very possible that this game simply wasn’t made for me — and that’s okay! I can totally see it working as a relaxing distraction for fans of the genre, especially younger players or anyone looking for a low-pressure clickathon.
Conclusion
Find My Frogs is a light-hearted hidden objects game with a sweet concept and charming visuals. It delivers exactly what it promises: a casual hunt for cute frogs.
It didn’t capture me the way I hoped, but I can still appreciate the care put into its world. If you’re into relaxed point-and-click games, or just want to lose yourself in a whimsical tree village full of tiny frogs, it might be worth the leap.
Final verdict: I’m not Sure
PS: Let me know in the comments if you managed to find all the strawberry cakes — I’m still missing one !
