I should probably start by saying that summer is not exactly my peak gaming season. Between long walks, spontaneous plans, and the general refusal to stay indoors when the sun finally shows up, my PC tends to get a little… neglected.
Truckful is a mystery driving game where you play as a delivery driver sent to a remote countryside that seems strangely frozen in time. The roads are perfectly drivable… yet you’re the only vehicle around.
The locals welcome your arrival with equal parts relief and concern, hinting that something isn’t quite right. What happened here? That’s the mystery waiting at the end of the road.
Some showcases are all about the biggest AAA reveals. Others exist to shine a spotlight on voices we don’t hear nearly enough. The Afro Game Showcase firmly belongs to the second category.
The Witch’s Bakery is a 2D adventure RPG where you step into the shoes of Lunne, a young witch opening her very own bakery in Paris.
Trackastrophe! is a puzzle game built around a very simple premise: keep a colourful little train moving by placing railway pieces before it reaches the end of the line.
Schrödinger’s Call is somewhere between a graphic novel, a philosophical meditation, and an apocalyptic fever dream.
Thrifty Business is a shop management game where you run your very own thrift store.
Potions Practicum is a shop management game where you take over a family potion store for a week while its owner is away. With little to no experience in alchemy, your goal is to learn recipes, manage customers, and somehow keep the business running long enough to survive the week.
