Game Soundtracks We Love: Lethal League Blaze

Game of Choice

Lethal League Blaze is a party fighting game, and one that’s gotten the highest rating from me. I listened to the soundtrack long before getting the game.

Funky Fresh Beats

One song is done by Hideki Naganuma, the man who made Jet Set Radio and Jet Set Radio Future’s soundtracks. Of course ‘Ain’t Nothin’ Like a Funky Beat’ is the track I’m talking about. A high energy song that’s about those “funky fresh beats”.

Changing the mood a bit is Ordinary Days V2 by Klaus Veen, a new version of Ordinary Days from the original Lethal League. This is one I like to play for a bit of background music.

One track that gives me a feeling of being ready to fight is Ruiner by Bignic.

Another funky song is Killa Swing by Pixelord, this is a more chill track but in a more hip-hope tone than others.

Final Thoughts

There are quite a few more awesome songs in this game. Choosing whether to unlock more content or spend it on songs was a hard choice for me. While some may seem a bit more divergent I think they all add to the atmosphere of the game. Of which there is a demo if you’re interested.

Which of these songs, or another song from this game is your favourite? Do you like any games with some funky fresh beats?
