Hello Kitty Island Adventure Gets New DLC

After the Wheatflower Wonderland DLC we got last fall, Sunblink and Sanrio are gearing up for the next major chapter of Hello Kitty Island Adventure. The newly announced City Town DLC arrives on April 16 on Steam, Switch and Playstation. By the way, it’s already available on the Apple Arcade version.

The DLC brings us a bustling new region, over 30 hours of fresh content, and more than 90 quests, one of the game’s biggest updates yet. You can watch the trailer here.

The expansion introduces City Town, a vibrant urban district packed with cafés, shops, adorable critters, and new Sanrio friends to meet. Leading the charge is the energetic and ever‑cheerful U*SA*HA*NA, who takes centre stage in this update. Sunblink is also teasing a “mysterious cameo guest,” so fans may want to keep their eyes peeled for a surprise visitor.

What’s new in the City Town DLC

A New Bestie: U*SA*HA*NA

Bubbly, bright, and ready to explore, U*SA*HA*NA can’t wait to welcome players to City Town. With 35 friendship levels to unlock, she brings a huge set of rewards, perks, and story moments.

A Vibrant New Region

City Town is a lively metropolis filled with towering skylines, hidden underground areas, and plenty of secrets. With 30+ hours of adventure and 90+ quests, there’s always something new waiting around the corner.

Imagination Café

Players can design and customise their very own café, whipping up adorable treats like mochi, dango, and boba tea to delight their Sanrio pals. It’s a cozy creative hub at the heart of the new region.

Seven New Shops

Help your friends expand City Town with new establishments, including a plushie boutique, blooming orchards, and even a full arcade. Each shop adds new activities and rewards.

New Visitors Arrive

U*SA*HA*NA’s friends, Pannya‑chan, Buppyu‑kun, Wanwa‑chan, Sora‑kun, and Nyako‑chan, are moving in. Players can prepare stylish apartments for them inside the Rainbow Tower.

It sounds like another great addition to a great game. Lynne gave the base game our highest rating!
