Hidden Cats in Jigsaw Puzzle is a 2024 puzzle game, set within the Hidden Cats game series, developed and released by Nukearts Studio.
Premise
In Hidden Cats in Jigsaw Puzzle we take a break from searching for lost kittens and instead are treated to some classic jigsaw puzzles.
Gameplay
The base game is free and we get all the artwork from Hidden Cats in Paris as jigsaw puzzles. All of the artwork from the rest of the games, we can get as paid DLCs.
We have a myriad of options as to how to set up our jigsaw – we can choose how many pieces to have or if we start with a colored picture or a black-and-white picture. The pieces are spread across the screen and we can move them freely around with the mouse. Once a piece is placed correctly on the board, it can’t be moved again. If you choose to start with a black-and-white picture, once you place a piece correctly, it will be colored immediately as well.
We can zoom in and out of the picture. We can shuffle the pieces, as well as have an outline of the completed picture as a hint.
Some Other Things
We have basic audio and video settings for Hidden Cats in Jigsaw Puzzle. The soundtrack should be familiar if you’ve played the rest of the games. Once we complete a level, the colored picture is available to look at in the game’s main menu. We also get a badge for each completed level.
Hidden Cats in Jigsaw Puzzle has Steam achievements, but no Trading cards as of now.
