Lost and Found Co is a relaxing hidden-object adventure game that has you helping clients and searching for their items amid a recent surge in disappearances. I’m very excited to dive into the official release after having played the demo (check out Paula’s impressions here), first announced back in 2024’s Wholesome Direct.
Ducky to the Rescue
You play as Ducky, a little duck magically transformed into a human by Mei Long, the Dragon Goddess. Mei Long’s followers have been in steep decline, and her shrine is at imminent risk of being demolished too! Mei quickly comes up with the brilliant idea to start a Lost and Found business, and it’s up to Ducky to work hard and grow this magical startup in order to keep the Goddess’s shrine standing.

Finding Lost Objects
The core hidden-object gameplay is spread across numerous story levels and client requests. Not only is each scene beautifully designed and filled with colorful entities, but most of the objects are also interactable. Sometimes, I found myself just randomly clicking on a map to check out the unique animations and different sound effects. Each level gives you a list of required missing items as well as several optional secondary objectives, so there are plenty of things to find and secrets to discover.

While some of the missing objects can be found simply by clicking on them, other missing objects require a little more work. Some wily objectives are hidden inside boxes, cabinets, and dumpsters. Other hidden items require you to alter the environment, such as turning up the thermostat to defrost and free a missing employee. Finding all of the secondary objectives isn’t necessary to pass a level, but completing them gains more likes for your Lost and Found business!
A Hint Coin, Please
In Lost and Found Co, you can click on each objective at the bottom of your screen to reveal a short description and a hint on where to find it. Don’t worry if you’re still having trouble locating a missing object, though! As you explore the different levels, you’ll sometimes run across colorless, pale-looking objects that definitely stand out from the rest of the colorful map. These are cursed spirits, called Juju, which you can collect to unlock a bonus hint for each objective.

Decorating Your Abode
As you progress through the story, Mei Long eventually teams up with the mischievous fox, Kitt, who builds an office for your Lost and Found business. Ducky even gets their own room, which you can decorate however you like. I’m a big fan of design games, like Make Room and Happy Home Designer, so I was delighted to find a room decorator in Lost and Found Co.

Your room starts off with simple items themed around your Lost and Found business, such as moving boxes and other members of the startup. New furniture and companions can be obtained by completing client requests or purchasing directly from Kitt’s shop. I really appreciated how flexible the object manipulation mechanic is with free placement, rotation, and resizing. Even the interiors of certain furniture can be decorated, so I made sure to place a lucky cat that peeks out when you open the cabinet door.
Conclusion
Overall, I found Lost and Found Co to be a simple and relaxing game that I could play in short bursts as well as longer stretches. The colorful, hidden object levels are a pleasure to explore with so many interactable objects and secrets in addition to the reward of growing Ducky and Mei Long’s Lost and Found business.
Final Verdict: I Like it a Lot
