Austrian studios One More Journey and Fire Sword Studios have teamed up on Herdles, a magical dog adventure.
You play as a magical dog racing across four colourful regions, using physics‑driven abilities to explore, solve puzzles, and sniff out secrets. The game is inspired by creative director Christian Hübel’s real‑life dog, Snoopy, which explains the game’s mix of mischief and earnest charm. Your bark isn’t just for show either; it’s a core tool for uncovering hidden paths and interacting with the world.
As you roam, you rescue corrupted creatures called Herdles. Each one adds a new ability — bouncing higher, gliding, smashing through walls, even swimming up waterfalls — and the game seems to encourage you to experiment rather than follow a strict path. There’s no combat or death here, just a focus on movement, puzzles, and that dedicated bark button the team is very proud of.
