I was super surprised when I realized that this is a new Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer was not a remake of the 2010 Wii game. That game wasn’t a very good one, but this Rudolph looks a lot more fun! It’s a collect-a-thon platformer that has couch co-op.

Christmas Soul is a platformer about saving Santa when he was kidnapped. This feels like the cute platformers of my youth that used to eat my quarters at the arcades.

If you want something with a lot more depth this winter, This Dead Winter is a dark fantasy game with an icy theme. While not actually holiday-themed, this story is about a fox wandering through a semi-open world that is experiencing snow and cold weather. With a deep story and intricate movement tech, This Dead Winter looks like the melancholy-filled story some might be wanting this season.
Pingbert’s Snow Ride

While not coming out until next year, I couldn’t leave out Pingbert’s Snow Ride. Similar to Christmas Luge, this penguin-centered game has you racing down icy mountains and collecting items. It looks adorable, fast, and fun to play.

Gingerbread Chocolatier is a simulation game where you play as a gingerbread man. You need to make the best possible hot chocolate in your gingerbread house for the others in the gingerbread town. It looks so cute and filled with holiday spirit.
