Quite easy to learn but challenging to master

Lines Infinite is a numberlink based puzzle game that requires the player to find connecting paths between two matching numbers. It may sound simple, but there are caveats to that. The lines must not cross any other line, and no puzzle is solved until all of the connectors in the puzzle grid have been used. These extra little rules make Lines Infinite quite easy to learn, but also challenging to master.

Luckily for the player, the game comes with differently colored lines for ease in seeing the grid and how all of the other lines/numbers pair and connect. It also sports a lovely minimalistic rotating background colors design that keeps the puzzles as easy on the eyes as possible.  If you are like me and like your puzzling relaxed and enjoyable, then you are going to love the beautifully relaxing soundtrack that helps keep your brain from taxing itself to the limit while working the puzzles.

Random levels of difficulty

There are 99 static brain teasers in this game, as well as a 100th slot that houses an infinite random puzzle generator. The 99 static puzzles presented range from easy-peasy to OMG-this-is-SO-HARD! WHY?! The downside is, you really will ask yourself why, and further, you’ll be frustrated that there is absolutely no progression to the challenge level each puzzle presents. It seems the developers just threw the puzzles in a pile and randomly deal them out to you.

Luckily it is only super hard to complete less than a handful of puzzles out of the 99 static puzzles you are presented with. The upside is that all of the aforementioned frustration is mitigated by the prize in this game which is the random generator presented as a gift to the steadfast puzzler after the end credits.

Overall Lines Infinite is a lovely relaxing game that is well worth the $1.99 U.S.

I like it a lot!
