Sunset Drive is a 2025 adventure game developed and released by Klapanom Games.
The Premise of Sunset Drive
In Sunset Drive, we are taken along on a day trip, shaped by memories, places, small choices, and intimate conversations. It’s not about the destination, but about the way there.

Gameplay
In terms of gameplay, Sunset Drive is a classic visual novel featuring extensive dialogue, multiple dialogue choices, and occasional side quests, as well as jigsaw puzzles. The puzzles are beautiful, almost watercolor-like pictures. At first, we need to put a few pieces in, but as the game progresses, the puzzles become a bit bigger and more difficult, yet still nothing too complicated. It’s designed to be a relaxing and introspective experience. And it is.
One playthrough in about an hour, but there are plenty of dialogue choices to make, which determine what detour to take and consequently what jigsaw puzzles to solve. So, all in all, replaying the game is well worth it.

The World of Sunset Drive
The world of Sunset Drive features soft, warm colors, watercolor landscapes, and gentle, relaxing music. In fact, the soundtrack and the artwork are released as separate DLCs on Steam.
Some Other Things
Sunset Drive has basic audio and video settings. The game features Steam achievements, but does not yet support Trading Cards.
Conclusion
If you like visual novels, jigsaw puzzles, and slow, relaxing gameplay, you’ll like Sunset Drive. The soundtrack is excellent, the artwork is great, the puzzles are the right amount of a challenge, the characters are well fleshed out, honestly, what’s not to like?
Final Verdict: I Like it a Lot
