Belgian indie developer Maracas Studio has announced that Cat Mail Co. will launch on Steam this week, on 9 July 2026.
Set on Cat’s Island, this cosy simulation game puts you in charge of a struggling post office. Following the mysterious disappearance of the former postmaster, mountains of undelivered parcels have piled up, and it is up to you to get everything back under control.
Sorting Parcels By Day, Uncovering Mysteries By Night
The core gameplay revolves around running the post office. You will sort, weigh, stamp, label, and organise parcels arriving from the daily boat, creating an efficient workflow that suits your style.
While the daytime focuses on restoring order, the nighttime brings a more magical side to the experience. Under the moonlight, parcels can reveal unusual properties, gradually uncovering the mystery hidden within the backlog of undelivered mail.
The story unfolds through the packages themselves, encouraging players to piece together what happened while helping the island’s residents.

A Relaxed Experience With Friends
Cat Mail Co. is designed to be stress-free, with no timers or penalties. The focus is on creating a satisfying flow as you process mail and improve your post office.
Players can also team up with friends thanks to support for up to four-player co-op. Whether you want to optimise the sorting process together or simply enjoy the cosy atmosphere, the entire post office can be managed as a group.
