Dutch indie studio Starbrew Games is ready for liftoff: Duck Side of the Moon, their cozy open‑world crafting adventure about a duck astronaut searching for a new home, is launching on PC (Steam + Epic Games Store) and Nintendo Switch on May 7th. A demo is already available on Steam.
Doug, a determined little duck, crash‑lands in a galaxy that’s far stranger (and far friendlier) than he expected. He sets out to gather resources, build gadgets, and slowly upgrade his battered spaceship into something that feels like home again.
At its core, Duck Side of the Moon is about exploration without pressure. You drift between colourful mini‑planets, poke around for rare materials, and help out the oddball inhabitants you meet along the way. Crafting gadgets, customising your spaceship, and dressing Doug in silly outfits all feed into a loop that’s more about curiosity than challenge. And yes, there’s a dedicated quack button, because of course there is.
