Illustration of a cozy gaming scene featuring a cheerful woman with gray hair, sitting on a comfortable green armchair, holding a game controller. She is dressed casually in jeans, sneakers, and a colorful knitted cardigan. Beside her is a wooden side table with a potted plant, and a gaming console is connected to a screen out of view. The text "Gaming Tales" appears on the left, with a small cup of coffee adorned with a gaming controller symbol. The ambiance suggests relaxation and enjoyment. Published on: LadiesGamers.

Gaming Tales with Lynne: The Tale of Link

Our knight… Link

This is the tale of a knight called Link,
Who could draw his sword faster than a blink.
Round Hyrule he wandered,
Helping towns that were plundered
By Ganon’s foul creatures (who stink!)

Take that!

Link rescued the Rito from a deep freeze,
The Zora from sludge (that was a breeze),
The Goran were vexed
By rocks that were hexed,
And Link cleared the sandstorm with ease.

There she blows…

As well as the scourges, there were quests galore!
Collecting, protecting, repairing and more.
Recover a horse,
Drive round a course,
Even waken the Great Fairies, all four.

Sneaking up to take a photo of a Battle Talus. Published on LadiesGamers
Can they see me?

One of the tasks was to take photos of foes,
On sky islands, overland and down with the poes.
Lynels and froxes,
Or giant hinoxes,
Sneaking up quietly or in battle throes.

That’s a great photo…. no, it’s a screenshot! Ahhhhhh…..

And this is where Link (well, I) went astray,
With Master Kohga, whilst in a fray,
I took a screenshot
(An in-game photo I did not)
And now Master Kohga’s gone away.

Hyrule Compendium with a gap for picture 165. Published on LadiesGamers
They aren’t great pictures… but they are mine!

Oh what to do for personal pride,
Collecting everything was part of the ride.
Now, with a gap,
I’m all in a flap,
And TOTK has been left on the side.

Starting again…

I know Robbie offers photos to buy,
But that isn’t taken through my little eye.
There’s nothing to do
But start all anew,
Else Hyrule will be left high and dry!
