Meow Moments: Olympicats is a new DLC for Meow Moments: Celebrating Together and yet another fun addition to the Hidden Animals (well, mostly cats!) genre.
The Premise of Meow Moments: Olympicats
In Olympicats, the new DLC for Meow Moments: Celebrating Together, there is little of a storyline. We have a fun and detailed scene where Cat Olympics of sorts are taking place. We have spectators and different races taking place, with people, cats, and other critters playing together. The art is beautiful as usual and has plenty of Easter eggs to look out for.
The Gameplay
In Olympicats, we must find cats, people, and balloons. While the art is very clear and concise, finding everything is still plenty of challenge. Some of the objects are very cleverly hidden in plain sight. Should you get stuck, you can use one of the three on top of the screen: one for kittens, one for people and one for balloons. The hints are unlimited, so you only need to wait a few seconds for them to recharge. When you find something, it fills with colors immediately. In the end, the whole picture is colored as well.
Some Side Notes
There are basic settings like audio and video, language, and zoom inversion. Meow Moments- Olympicats doesn’t add any new Steam achievements or trading cards.
Conclusion
Olympicats is a fun addition to an already fun game. Besides a new scene, it also adds new elements to play around with in the level creator. If the developers keep delivering new DLCs with this quality, Meow Moments will surely become a go-to hub for hidden object/ kitten games. In any case, it’s a game that is more than worth it for fans of the genre.
