Mewseum: Masterpieces is a 2025 shikaku-style puzzle game developed and released by New Dawn Game Studio.

The Gameplay of Mewseum: Masterpieces

In Mewseum: Masterpieces, we have a series of famous paintings. Each painting is turned into a grid of squares, and you have to fill in the squares according to the number given. Each painted section must contain exactly one number, and all painted squares must be connected to each other in one line or in pairs.

Almost done.

We paint with the left mouse button and erase with the right mouse button. We can also paint over a mistaken area instead of erasing and then painting. It’s quicker this way, especially when we are more or less done with an area and need quick corrections. Once an area is completed, the game automatically moves us to another spot. It’s good that the paintings are divided into segments instead of being given access to the whole painting – it helps with being overwhelmed by the entire picture.

I wasn’t sure about the game at first, but once you get the hang of it, it’s fairly easy and relaxing. Also, the game has a hint button that doesn’t need recharging, and the hints are limitless.

We can choose any available paintings to start with and then complete them in any order we want. The paintings are true masterpieces, like The Girl with the Pearl Earring, Starry Night, and Mona Lisa.

Conclusion

Mewseum: Masterpieces is a charming and tranquil puzzle game designed for players seeking a relaxing experience. The gameplay invites you to solve a variety of visually engaging puzzles that showcase artistic masterpieces. While the game may not introduce revolutionary mechanics, its serene atmosphere and delightful visuals make it an enjoyable choice for short bursts of gameplay. Each puzzle offers a satisfying challenge that is perfect for unwinding and taking a break from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
