New Nintendo Labo VR Kit

Nintendo tweeted yesterday that another Nintendo Labo is about the be released. On April 12 a new kit will hit the stores called Toy-Con 04, which is all about VR.

What’s surprising is the way Nintendo is taking on VR gaming, as always in their own unique way. No high end goggles and very high tech devices. But made out of card board, and aimed at an audience that likes building. Of course, I don’t expect this will let you play the games you have in full VR, Nintendo will probably have specific games for VR.

There aren’t many details released yet, but you can bet Paige, who reviewed all the other Labo Kits here on the site, will check it out.

The kit comes in several combinations. You can buy the Starter + Blasters set and add to them with expansion sets, but you can also buy the full package immediately. The base $39.99 Nintendo Labo VR Kit will come with the Toy-Con VR Goggles and Blaster. People then have the option of also getting Expansion Set 1, with its Camera and Elephant, and Expansion Kit 2, with its Bird and Wind Pedal. Each expansion is going to be $19.99. The full Nintendo Labo Toy-Con 04: VR Kit includes everything for $79.99.

This is what’s in the box:
