Pirouette & Smile is a 2026 jigsaw puzzle game developed by and released by Hands of Song.

The Gameplay of Pirouette & Smile
Pirouette & Smile features over 200 dynamic puzzles, with beautiful watercolor video puzzles and pieces that float around. We need to fit each piece correctly using the picture as an overlay. Since the reference picture is a video, the ballet dancer within keeps moving and dancing. Meanwhile, the puzzle we are piecing together stays stationary, adding to the challenge. Beyond the single-player casual campaign mode, players can also compete against the computer or another player.
Overall, Pirouette & Smile is an interesting take on the classic jigsaw puzzles. I admit that it felt a little too busy for my taste- besides the floating jigsaw puzzles and the moving reference video, we also have colorful power ups exploding on screen from time to time.
I like jigsaw puzzles, especially in real life. Even now, I’ve started one of the new Galison Autumn puzzles on my dining table. I use puzzles to relax, but I am sad to say Pirouette & Smile didn’t give me the same feeling. If anything, it stressed me out with everything happening on screen. It felt more like an arcade game than a jigsaw puzzle. But there’s nothing wrong with the game itself; I just think I might not be the right audience for it.

Some Other Things
Pirouette & Smile has all the usual audio and video settings. The game has no Steam achievements or trading cards.
Conclusion
If you like puzzles and are okay with an arcade game, give Pirouette & Smile a try. I think it’s a curious mix of puzzling and action.
Final Verdict: I Like it.
