There’s always room for more wholesome games though. This week, we got an update on a few nice and interesting looking games in the Wholesome Snack Holiday Edition 2020. One of the games features was Potion Permit. Looks interesting, let’s take a closer look.

Potion Permit: be a Doctor, a Chemist and a Fighter

Moonbury’s residents need healing and you’re the best Chemist around! There are 30 residents in the town and they will occasionally need your help to overcome and illness. And you’re not just the one to brew the potion, you also have to make a diagnoses to find what is wrong.

Once you’ve decided on a potion, ointment, or salve, you must gather the required ingredients from the surrounding environment. Watch out for changing weather conditions! Some areas are known to experience dense fog, droughts, or even strong blizzards.

And at times you won’t be able to gather what you need out in nature: you will have to battle monsters for it. And of course, aside from making potions to help your patients, you can also brew concoctions to be a stronger fighter in real time battle.

With your trusty tools, a brewing cauldron, and a canine companion at your side, you’ll need to diagnose symptoms, gather ingredients, brew potions, and cure ailments in this open-ended sim RPG.

The game is expected in 2020 to come to the Switch and also Steam, PS4 and Xbox.
