Powerwash Simulator and Powerwash Simulator 2 are some of my personal favorite games. So when I got the opportunity to review the new Adventure Time Pack DLC as well, I jumped at the chance. Let’s dive into what to expect with the first paid DLC for the second game in this franchise.
Powered by SquareEnix
It’s hard to believe some of the crossovers that Powerwash Simulator has had over the years, thanks to SquEnix pushing the buttons in the background. It had crossovers with Spongebob Squarepants, the Final Fantasy 7 remake, Back to the Future, and Warhammer 40k, among many others. So it doesn’t surprise me that the second game in the franchise would also have big crossovers as well.

Adventure Time is a massively popular cartoon from Cartoon Network. Its goofy plot and even goofier characters act like weirdos inside of a very strange world, and the series delighted millions between 2010 and 2018. So it was great to see this cartoon from the inside and wash all the dirt off of some very familiar places.
Cleaning Up the Land of Ooo
As with all Powerwashing crossover DLC, you dive into the world and start washing. This Adventure Time DLC put a lot of effort into making the Land of Ooo look exactly like it does in the show. It has the same cartoony style with the same intense color pallets, and a lot of effort has been put into putting details from the show into the levels.

There are five total levels in the Adventure Time Pack DLC for Powerwash Simulator 2: the Treehouse interior, Pizza Sassy’s, the Ice King’s Castle, vehicles, and then the Treehouse exterior. This is pretty typical of the DLCs for this franchise; they usually have about 5-6 levels to clean.

The amount of detail put into each level is a delight, and it really shows how involved the developers are in each franchise. A great example is that there is a hidden waving snail in every single level (if you know, you know). The levels are colorful, beautiful, and so well-crafted.
Any Down Sides?
I absolutely adored my time powerwashing Ooo, and I am forever surprised at how enamoured I am with Powerwash Simulator games and their DLCs. I didn’t really have any downsides; I know these DLCs are expensive because of the licensing and all, but the price always makes me a little sad.

There is also a complete lack of background music. I wish there were a radio you could turn on in each level with some lofi versions of in-universe music. Not that I want to listen to Bacon Pancakes for an hour on loop, but the option to turn on some tunes would be amazing.

Conclusion
Overall, though, the Powerwash Simulator 2: Adventure Time Pack was everything I wanted it to be. It was goofy fun that looks like it is part of the Adventure Time world. It’s perfect for fans of both Powerwash Simulator and Adventure Time.
Final Verdict: Two Thumbs Up:
