A new calm and reflective puzzle adventure is on the horizon. D-topia, developed by Marumittu Games and published by Annapurna Interactive, is set to launch on 14 July 2026 on Steam, Switch, PS5 and Xbox. And if you want to give it a try, there’s a demo already available on Steam.
A World Shaped By Artificial Intelligence
In D-topia, you step into a futuristic community where daily life is managed by artificial intelligence. This system, known as the Utopia Project, was created to maximise happiness and comfort for its residents.
You take on the role of a Facilitator, responsible for maintaining the balance of this carefully managed world. Your job involves resolving issues across the residential area and ensuring everything runs smoothly for the people who live there.
Puzzle Solving With A Narrative Focus
The gameplay centres on logic-based puzzles, which are used to fix mechanical problems throughout the facility. These puzzles are designed to connect closely with the story, making each task feel part of the wider world.
As you explore, you meet residents with their own stories and concerns. Building trust and understanding their situations becomes just as important as solving the puzzles themselves.
Your Choices Shape The Outcome
While many challenges begin as technical problems, not everything can be solved with mechanics alone. The game introduces moments where your decisions affect the wellbeing of residents and the overall direction of the community.

D-topia also features a dual-layered setting. Alongside the bright and orderly public spaces, there is a hidden “Block Side” where glitches and secrets can be uncovered.
Moving between these two sides allows you to fix deeper issues within the system while learning more about the world behind its carefully curated surface.
