This cozy life‑sim invites you to clean, rebuild, and decorate a forgotten island alongside your loyal dog companion, one trash pile at a time. Soozi already made her demo impressions article and found that it wasn’t “just another cleaning sim”, but there was a lot more to Restore Your Island than she initially thought.
The premise is simple: you arrive on a polluted, abandoned island and slowly bring it back to life. You wander through overgrown paths, sift through debris, and uncover pockets of beauty buried beneath the mess. It’s a slow, tactile loop that mixes exploration, gentle storytelling with interesting mechanics and a stunning setting.
Inspired by Spiritfarer, Animal Crossing, and other laid‑back favourites, Restore Your Islandblends crafting, restoration, and decoration into a calm rhythm. Accompanied by your faithful dog, you collect rubbish, recycle materials, craft upgrades, and rescue stranded animals who eventually become part of your new home. There’s no rush, no timers, no pressure!
