Releasedate Update and DLC part 1 for Pokopia

We have a date! On August 5th, which is really around the corner, the free update for Pokopia launches. And if you have decided to go for the paid DLC, the Expansion Pass, too, then the first part will launch on the same date.

Free Update For Everyone

The update introduces Ditto’s new Dive ability, which lets you explore the currently existing underwater areas. You can of course decide to expand your building possibilities beneath the waves.

DLC Part 1: Explore The New Bubbly Basin

The main attraction of the Expansion Pass Part 1 is the Bubbly Basin, a brand-new area first teased when the DLC was announced. The latest trailer takes a much closer look at the underwater destination and the features it brings to the game.

Several new Pokémon will appear in the area, including Popplio, Totodile, and Mudkip. Players will also gain access to floating blocks, opening up fresh building opportunities by allowing structures to hover above the ground.

The trailer also showcases underwater farming. Crops grown beneath the surface will require access to air, adding a new twist to managing your farm. Alongside these mechanics, the DLC will include a range of exclusive furniture and decorative items.

First Look At Part 2

The trailer finishes by teasing Expansion Pass Part 2, which is scheduled to arrive later in 2026. Rather than introducing a new town, this update focuses on customisation.

Players will be able to dress up their Pokémon with a variety of accessories, including hats, ties, and other outfits. Newcomer Snubbull also makes an appearance as part of the reveal.

Good times ahead in Pokémon Pokopia!
