Upcoming Steam Games August 2026

Welcome. It’s time to look at the Upcoming Steam Games that we have on our radar. However, aside from our Upcoming Steam Games, if you play on Nintendo Switch, we also have an Upcoming Switch and Switch 2 Games article.

Upcoming Steam Games

Furthermore, not all games to be released are listed here. Alternatively, you will see games that the other gaming sites don’t mention. We are taking note of these games, and you can expect reviews for many of them if given half the chance. It should be noted that unless we have some personal experience with the game, there’s a link to the descriptions on the Steam website.

Cozy Marbles – August 20th

Cozy Marbles a very happy marble

Cozy Marbles is a comfy game about building marble runs. Using a huge range of bits and pieces from charming homes, fairytale realms and starlit spacecraft, fit together the marble course you’ve always wanted to build and play with. Unwind to a bespoke lo-fi soundtrack and roll with the nostalgia.

James played the demo of Cozy Marbles and said this:

At the end of the day, Cozy Marbles still feels exactly like what it promises to be. A cozy marble-building sandbox where the joy comes from creativity, experimentation and watching physics do silly things.

It may not be the sort of game everyone instantly clicks with if they need heavy progression systems or intense objectives, but for players looking for something calm and imaginative, it’s shaping up well.

The updated demo adds some nice incentives and quality-of-life improvements while keeping the same laid-back identity intact. Sometimes you don’t need explosions, epic drama or giant open worlds. Sometimes you just need a tiny marble wearing a hat flying through a loop-the-loop at questionable speeds. Coming 2026, and definitely worth keeping an eye on or a marble with wiggly arms.

Build your dream beach hut, add your personal touch, and let the island rhythm take over.

Soozi Q played the Steam demo of Lou’s Lagoon and had this to say:

Lou’s Lagoon was developed by Tiny Roar, which is a studio formed by 2 friends in 2015. Although it’s still an indie studio, it has now grown to 25 employees. They created Into the Emberlands, which is another cozy game. The demo for Lou’s Lagoon is available on Steam, and the full game is projected to be released on August 27, 2026. I encourage you to try it, there’s so much to it. It’s a sweet game with lots of adventures to be had and lots of quests to complete.
