5 Cozy Tidying Games To Keep Your Eyes On

Have you played one of the new Tidying Games where you have thousands of items to sort and organize? Are you already getting nervous just by looking at the image above? Those Tidying are wildly popular right now and deserve a peek.

A Micro Trend

There seems to be a new micro trend on Steam for a new genre of games. They are technically organizing games but definitely different from the ones I was used to. In each game, there are thousands of individual items to tidy up. They can all be played in a cozy mode with no timers.

Here are 5 Cozy Tidying Games that you may want to try. Each one is slightly different from the others, but all are very popular on Steam. I have not played any of these games, but if you already know you like this genre, or if you are merely curious about them, here are some new titles that you may want to consider trying.

Librarian: Tidy Up The Arcane Library

This Tidying Game was released in April 2026 and currently has over 14,000 very positive reviews on Steam. It’s hugely popular. In it, you are tasked with organizing 3,072 books. Why 3,072 exactly? I don’t know! The game is set in a magical library, which adds to its charm and may explain the exact number of books somewhere in the storyline.

As in many games of this type, you level up periodically, which helps you to sort more books. Some of the reviews on Steam mention that the soundtrack is very pleasant and adds a lot to the game. The graphics are lovely and give it a real magical feel. Librarian: Tidy Up The Arcane Library is available on Steam.

Supermarket Chaos

Supermarket Chaos is one of the more recognizable titles in the Tidying Games genre in my opinion. In this game, you sort 4,668 items into their proper places. Released in June 2026, it already has over 1,200 very positive reviews on Steam. Part of its attraction may be the fact that it takes place in such a familiar place. We all shop at the supermarket, don’t we?

In Supermarket Chaos, you sort items into 16 unique sections, such as frozen foods, fruit and tea. It can be played either individually or in multiplayer mode for up to 4 players if you prefer. There are no time limits; you can play at your own pace. Supermarket Chaos is available on Steam.

I would hate to see my favorite market looking like this.

Cellar Keeper

Cellar Keeper takes place in a forgotten cellar where you are faced with a huge mess. The owner of the cellar has fallen under a curse and will only be freed when all the wine bottles have been organized.  There are 2,448 wine bottles scattered here, and it’s your job to return them all to their proper places.

Cellar Keeper was released just 10 days before I wrote this article, and it already had 480 very positive reviews on Steam. As in the Tidying Games, the longer you play, the more abilities you unlock. This game has two modes – a cozy mode and a timed speed run mode. So, you can choose how you want to play. How will I ever organize all those bottles? Yikes!

Cleaning Up The Puzzle Gallery

Cleaning Up The Puzzle Gallery was released just 11 days before I wrote this article, and it already has 374 very positive reviews. In it, there are 2,071 puzzle pieces scattered across a gallery of 87 famous paintings from 13 artists. Instead of putting items on shelves as in the other games in this list, you are using the puzzle pieces to complete the paintings. Clever!

The soundtrack features classical music, which should complement the setting nicely. There are a variety of play modes so you can have exactly the experience you enjoy. You can even upload your own images and turn them into puzzles to solve. Cleaning Up The Puzzle Gallery is available on Steam.

This is going to look great when all the puzzle pieces have been organized

Tidy Up Together

Tidy Up Together was released 2 days before I wrote this article and already has 46 mostly positive reviews. This particular game takes place in a setting reminiscent of the Middle Ages. The backstory is that an evil wizard has cast a tornado spell on the shop. You can choose to clean them up yourself or invite some friends since it has the option for multiplayer.

The shop has a wide range of products for sale, from weaponry to spells to sushi. Your job is to put everything back in its proper place. It features three different levels of shops with varying quantities of items to organize. They range from 650 to almost 10,000. That should keep you busy for a while! Tidy Up Together is available on Steam.

I’m speechless!! What a mess.

Does the idea of organizing stuff appeal to you? If so, there’s plenty of fun for you on Steam in this Tidying Games genre!
