Christmas sales for last minute buys

In two days time Christmas Eve is upon us. And if you celebrate the festive season by helping Santa to get just the right gift, you can get some nice deals over at Nintendo’s eShop. The sales period is often very short, so if you want to give a game on sales to your favourite gamer, you’d better not hesitate too long.

Special sales in the European eShop

The American eShop and the European ones are running their own course. This means that not all deals are the same. First, we take a look at sales in the European shop. If  there’s a discount in the American eShop too, I’ve mentioned it.

Octopath Traveller, Square Enix’s grand adventure, exclusively on Switch, is on sale in Europe and Japan (with English subtitles). Sadly, it’s not on sale in America. The price is down by 40% and is now £ 29.99 | € 35,99 (was £ 49.99| € 59,99). The sale ends on January 3rd. My favourite game, Civilization VI, is on sale for £ 35.99| € 39,99  (was £ 44.99| € 49,99). The sale ends on January 3rd. Still isa  hefty price, but it is a huge and engrossing game. The game is on sale in America too for a price of $ 44.99 (was $ 59.99)

Cities: Skylines is on offer in Europe only (not in America). Chamzen wrote a glowing review about the game (which you can read here). The game is now £ 28.79 |€ 31,99 (was £ 35.99| € 39,99). To be honest, I’m tempted…The sale ends on January 3rd.

Rayman Legends Definitive edition is on offer in Europe only for half of the price. Now £ 14.99| € 19,99, was £ 29.99| € 39,99.

Evriun enjoyed Planet Alpha very much, so it’s nice news that the game is on sale: £ 9.59| € 11,99 (was £ 15.99|€ 19,99). The sale ends January 2nd.
The game is on sale in America too for a price of $ 11.99 (was $ 19.99).

Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle is on sale in Europe only. The sale price is £ 14.99| € 19,99  (was £ 29.99| € 39,99) so that’s half off till January 3rd.

Puyo Puyo Tetris is on sale too, for a price of £ 17.49 | € 19,99  which is half off (was £ 34.99| € 39,99). It’s not on sale in America though.

The American eShop has a nice list of sales too. If you are interested in a game and you live in Europe, it’s a good idea to check your own eShop to see the price. The list is simply too long to check them all out…

Publisher Team 17 has a Holiday Sale that ends on January 2nd 8.59 am PT. Several games are featured, like:
