Contest results & News LadiesGamers Week 16

Come on in my friend, and get yourself a nice cup of coffee or tea! Time to look back and wrap up of everything that happened on the site this past week, running from April 16th until April 21st 2019.

The weekly news highlights what happened on LadiesGamers.com this past week. This week, the results of the  Competition Favorite Indie Games that we had running since the beginning of March.

Results Competition “Favorite Indie Games”

First of all, congratulations to the two winners who got their $10 eShop credit reward: @JonesyGirl_41 and @switch_hwan, have fun with whatever game you will buy!

As for your favorite indie developers: your votes were very varied. Which was to be expected, with so many indie games flocking to the Nintendo Switch. Two titles stood out however: Stardew Valley and Yonder: the Cloud Catcher Chronicles. Two fine simulation games on the Switch.

Thanks to all for participating!

This past week’s reviews:

Four reviews were published this week:

Review My Time at Portia (Switch)

Looking for a simulation game on the Nintendo Switch that has all elements like farming, crafting, mining, questing & fighting? Here is My Time at Portia! It might still need some update to polish out some of the glitches, but this is the kind of sim gaming we have been waiting for!

Review Trüberbrook (Switch)

A great sci-fi mystery point and click adventure set in 1967. Trüberbrook has loads of atmosphere, humour and a unique and beautiful visual style.

Windscape (Switch) Review

Windscape on Switch – an open-world-like adventure game, that has a nice simplicity to it’s mechanics and a unique charm with it’s low-poly graphic style. check out Evriun’s review.

In the series YvoCaro Plays (find my unedited gaming thoughts here) I tend to ramble on about my gaming adventures. This week you must forgive me while I ramble on about the fun I’m having in My Time at Portia. YvoCaro Plays: My Time at Portia ticks all the boxes

Beginners Guide to My Time at Portia

During my game with the early review code I decided to keep notes on this wonderful simulation game. You see, at the start I was often confused, I was so used to Harvest Moon mechanics. So if you start playing My Time at Portia, this guide will help you along. Beginners Guide My Time at Portia

Kickstarter succes Littlewood

As you know by now, we are always looking for new simulation games that might make it to the Nintendo Switch. Games that might scratch the itch for more simulation games in the console’s library. This time we feature another successful Kickstarter story: Littlewood.

Thanks once again for reading, have a happy gaming week!
