The Premise of Goblin and Recipes: Match-3 Adventure
In Goblin and Recipes: Match-3 Adventure, we join a cheerful goblin chef on a cozy culinary adventure, where we solve a classic match-3 puzzle to unlock new, real traditional Balkan recipes.
Gameplay
Goblin and Recipes: Match-3 Adventure features 50 unique puzzle levels, where we match different ingredients in groups of 3. Once we collect enough ingredients, we complete the level. Once we’ve completed the entire chapter, we also unlock the corresponding recipe. As the game progresses, the difficulty also increases with new obstacles and mechanics. As we play, we will have to deal with frozen ingredients, solid rocks, spicy peppers, explosive pepper shakers, and even cascading chain reactions. As for the recipes, we get them with familiar measurements for cooks around the world, so you can even try preparing some Balkan cuisine at home. Some of the recipes include Uštipci, Stuffed Peppers, Sarma, Gibanica, and more.
In Goblin and Recipes: Match-3 Adventure, we have no timers, ads, energy system, or microtransactions. Play as much or as little as you want.
Some Other Things
Goblin and Recipes: Match-3 Adventure has Steam achievements, but no Trading cards yet. The game has the basic audio and video settings. Note about the recipes: each recipe is accessible at the bottom of the chapter page once you’ve completed all the levels within the chapter.
Conclusion
Goblin and Recipes: Match-3 Adventure is a casual and cozy match-3 puzzle game. While it doesn’t offer anything groundbreaking in the genre, it delivers on what it promises. If you are in the mood for something casual and short (and very Autumnal color-wise), Goblin and Recipes: Match-3 Adventure might just be the game for you.
Final Verdict: I Like it.
