The Gameplay of Jewel Match Solitaire Winterscapes 3 – Collector’s Edition
In Jewel Match Solitaire Winterscapes 3 – Collector’s Edition, we have a thousand levels of playing different variants of Solitaire – Klondike, Spider, and so on. As we progress through the levels, we unlock bonus levels such as supersize and challenge, suit and rank, and so on. Each variant type is explained initially, but the rules are accessible anytime during the game.
In each level, we have classic features such as trick cards, undo buttons, cards locked behind barriers that need to be destroyed, and so on- all to make the gameplay more varied and interesting.
Jewel Match Solitaire Winterscapes 3 has four difficulty levels – standard, complex, relaxed, and timed. I played on normal and didn’t find it particularly difficult. We can buy upgrades for the gameplay, such as joker cards and wild cards, in the shop. Coins are earned during play by clearing the board from cards or completing a nice combo.
Each completed level awards us jewels, which then can be used to buy upgrades for our winter scene – parts of a castle, decorations, and so on. The game has ten scenes we can build and use as wallpapers. Completing all the bonus levels of a type unlocks additional decorations for the winter scenes. In addition, as we progress, we unlock additional artwork for the cards.
The game is a perfect winter solitaire puzzle, with matching artwork and a whimsical and pleasant soundtrack. The soundtrack is Christmas-inspired, so it complements the game perfectly.
Some Other Things
Jewel Match Solitaire Winterscapes 3 – Collector’s Edition has basic audio and video settings. The instructions are shown at the beginning of the game and can be accessed during play or in the main menu.
The game has Steam achievements but no trading cards as of yet.
Conclusion
Jewel Match Solitaire Winterscapes 3 – Collector’s Edition is the first game I’ve played in this series, but after I finish it, I will be checking the rest of them. I love a good solitaire game, and Jewel Match Solitaire Winterscapes 3 – Collector’s Edition checks all the boxes for me – pleasant artwork, gameplay options, varied gameplay, and a nice soundtrack.
